Updated running orders and worker sign ups
« on: September 05, 2018, 12:34:24 PM »
We're writing today to let you know there is an updated running order posted to the NADAC website here:

https://www.nadac.com/Championships.htm

There were quite a few adjustments that had to be made for conflicts, so please check and make sure that you have enough space between dogs.   We tried to keep them all straight, but it is possible we missed a couple!

Also the worker sign ups are now open!

They can be found on the same page.

We are doing the workers a bit differently this year in that you will sign up for a specific number of runs, rather than a division.    We tried to keep the groups to around 25 dogs, that way everyone has a chance to come out without interfering with their day too much.

With that said we absolutely cannot run the event without volunteers, so please signup for whatever you can.    There is a worker raffle that you will earn tickets for and from what I've heard it should be pretty good this year

Thanks everyone and we'll see you all soon!

Hey Chris,

I see that Summer Samaroden was moved from DDmini jumping 4 inches to jumping height of 8 inches.  Is the height listed the jump height or based on dog height.  She only jumps 4 inches.  thanks

Chris:
I signed up but I think I signed up for the elite ring.  I want to work the pre-elite, double digit ring.  Can I verify that with somebody?

My mistake.

I signed up for the pre-elite/double digit.  Ignore my earlier post.

Thanks-

I assume if you sign up to work a set of numbers that you are doing it twice in a day?

I noticed when I was signing up for volunteer work that the changeout spots on Sunday on the run orders don't match the volunteer signup form ... because the day starts with the stakes classes.  Not sure how to work out which group to sign up for ... I'm assuming that if I just sign up for, say, the 3rd group that will work for pre-elite/DD dogs #58-82, not 51-75.  Right?  (My brain doesn't do counting very well past a certain hour!  ;) )
work it ... own it ... believe it!

Thanks for catching that!    I just got it updated to show the correct cutoffs for pre-elite on Sunday

There are 3 boxes inside the ring for shuttling dogs into the rings.

You basically just stand there and push people through when the next box is open.    It's a pretty easy gig :)

Pre-Champs are more like a regular trial.   There will be a sign up sheet each day for those jobs :)

Box 3 would be the closest to the ring :)
