Does anyone know what the policy is for three-legged dogs competing?

Disclaimer - not official info  :) :)
I'm pretty sure they can do ground games - hoopers, tunnelers.
I'm almost certain they can't do anything with jumps
I'm not so sure about doing contacts - meaning Touch N Go
Don't know if Weavers falls into the "ground games" category or not.

The dog cannot enter classes with jumps, contacts or weavepoles.  The dog can enter the other classes as long as the judge can reasonably assess the dog’s ability to function and perform agility obstacles safely, and in a manner that is in the best interest, health and welfare of the dog.

Thanks for the "no weave poles".  I have had a 3-legged dog in classes.  The handler did not want his dog to go over jumps or contacts, but thought since the dog could do weaves, it was OK.  This was a large dog, with speed, and at the time I discouraged weaving since I thought 1 leg on the front was a lot of stress for weaves.

We've had inquiries for entry of a three-legged dog to our upcoming November trial.  Did anyone ever receive a formal response on this?  I want to be sure we are providing the correct information.  My current understanding is that these dogs may participate in any classes without contacts and jumps.  Any additional information would be much appreciated!

This is explicitly addressed in the FAQ's on the NADAC web site on the NADAC Rules and FAQ page .  It states:

"
28) My dog is a canine amputee. Can he still participate in NADAC trials?

Yes, your dog may run in any classes that do not contain jumps or contact obstacles. The classes your dog is eligible to enter are tunnelers, weavers, hoopers And Barrelers
