Trial Calendar Search Feature

Hi Chris,

Now that you’ve kind of divided the country into 6 zones for Regionals.....

I was wondering would it be difficult to add a feature to the Trial Calerdar Search part of the New Websiteso that you could search for trials by Region ?  Right now you can search by ALL or by individual states.

One other ideathat just popped into my head -  is there a way to put NADAC clubs on a map of USA/Canada/Australia?  Would be a great feature especially new competitors to quickly see what clubs are nearby and also  for those who travel/vacation with their dogs.  You could zoom in on the map to the area where you are planning to travel, see if there are any clubs on the map, click on a club name to pull up a list of when their trials are for that year along with a link to their website.    Could also work the other way.... type a club name in the search box and the map pops up showing you where they are. 
Just an idea for someone who might be a lot more computer savvvy than me.

Right now you can search by ALL or by individual states.

You can also easily search by multiple states.  Select the first state you want to search, then just use CONTROL-Click on each additional state you wish to add to your search.  You should see each state you CONTROL-Click stay highlighted.  Note:  on a Mac computer, it would be a COMMAND-Click.  Hope this helps.

True but when you live in the land of small states.... mid Atlantic.  I usually have to do 2 searches to hit all the states I could get to within and 8 hr drive

Zeemaps has that kind of location mapping feature. It can even be filled out by the individual clubs, instead of all being input by NDAC staff. Someone just has to set it up and be in charge of it. There is a fee to use it though.

I think it's always a good idea to have more functionality with the searches.    I'm not sure how soon we can get it implemented since we have a few other upgrades planned that are high priority, but we can definitely add it to the list
