Regarding the entry, I am a complete newby and have a question. If I am going for Pre-Elite qualification and dont qualify, do I get my money returned? Also, what does the $300 entry fee cover? Just running classes? And do I need to pay the $300 fee AND the $125 fee to run? Any help would be great. Sorry for all the questions.

So the main event is Thursday through Sunday.   This is the main competition and that is what the $300 entry is for.   Everything else is just extra that you don't need to do if you don't want :)

If you enter and can't make it, whether because you can't qualify or any other reason we offer full refunds up until August 15th.   After that you'll get progressively less and less the closer it gets to the event.

So I see Pre-trial and Side runs have a number of Gamblers runs.

I know Gambler's is a strategy type game but having never done it, and not expecting to see it until later in 2019 I have general question.

With Chances if you have an issue with the distance then you can always just cross the line and run the numbered course as an E run.

With Gamblers if you enter this game and realize you have no idea what your doing can you make up your own course and have an E run as long as you get off the course in less than 70 second maximum.

If I sign up for Gamblers, I want to think I can get some benefit from it even if I stink at the actual point (and points) of the game.

I'll have a Novice green dog and like to give him a few runs but not sure Gamblers fits forh novice Gamblers handler with a novice (green and young) dog.

The $125 is for the Pre-Trial runs.  They are on Tuesday and Wednesday - before the Champs runs start on Thursday.  Some people come a couple of days early and enter those runs.  They are just like a regular trial - 6 runs a day.  Some people don't come as early and don't do those runs.  It's just what you choose to do depending on when you choose to get there.

For gamblers you can definitely use it as training if things don’t go to plan!

And since you can make up your own course it’s a nice way to get connected and work on skills that you want to fine tune before the main event :)

Thank you for that. So for my Open dog, I can pay the $300 (assuming he qualifies) and run Thursday - Sunday and potentially qualify for a "Finals" for Pre Elite also that runs on Sunday?

I am filling out the entry for my 9 year old dog and I am a 69 year old woman.  Do I enter as a veteran dog or a veteran handler?  I don't seem to be able to be both!  Thanks!

You can do either one.  It's your choice.  The only difference will be which group your compete in.

Hi Chris,
I entered last night and received a confirmation for my entry, stall, pre-champs, and side runs but not for my RV reservation.  The money is pending in my account so I believe the transaction went thru but I am not sure. Should I just be patient and it will eventually show up?
Thanks,
Becki

Hey Becki,

I can send you one manually,  you’re definitely on the list.

There was an issue with the email field on the form, so a few different people didn’t get their rv confirmations, it’s all fixed now :)

Chris - can you confirm something I think I read awhile back?  That there will be 6 rounds (2 each day Th-Sat), and then the finals round will be on Sunday?  And Team relay on Sunday as well.  But not the "normal" round 7 for everyone on Sunday?

Hi, Marcy.  That's the information at the very end of the Championship information sheet.

So, I think I know the answer to this, but am going to ask anyway.  There is a discount price that if you run 12 runs it is a bit cheaper.  Is that for 1 dog that does all 12 runs or can you have multiple dogs that count towards that 12 runs?
