New points files
« on: April 18, 2012, 07:35:09 PM »
Hi, group.
We will be updating the points files to the web site in the next couple of days and also to the NADACforum files.   For those in Novice and Open, you have noticed that your Skilled and Proficient points accumulate together for titles since the beginning.  Now those in Elite will also notice that their Skilled and Proficient points from all divisions will be accumulated together for total points in each class.
The Skilled "S" designator will still be displayed in the "Class" column, but it will not show in the "Title" column.  So all points at Elite, all divisions, all categories will be combined for all titles.  So there is no more need to transfer any Proficient points to the Skilled category.

The only transfers ever required would be upper level points to complete Outstanding and/or Superior titles at a lower level if the handler chooses to record those via upper level transfers.

Congratulations to everyone for their qualifying rounds.  We added another 24,000 qualifying rounds to competitors records!!!  Very awesome!

The new points should show on the NADAC web site within 3-7 days and on the NADAC forum files within 2 days.  Chris will post how to access the points files on the forum, as they are not there now.  Titling certificates will be available via the web site next week.

    Congratulations!! ;D

So to be clear -- A NATCH is a NATCH is a NATCH now?

I think that's great.   ;D

Just to be even clearer,  the MEDAL  and NATCH-S is going to be called NATCH right???
No distinction between Skilled NATCH and MEDAL NATCH???

Most likely.   More traffic seems to be here.   But I will copy the main post and put it there as well :)

Great Job, Chris! Moving a system is always a big task, and moving it over to a different platform makes it an even bigger accomplishment. :)

Hi Debra,

Currently we are putting them directly into the topics.

If you look at the top of the general discussion board is a whole bunch of 'sticky' topics that never move.  They have all the info currently.

I do have a program that works inside the forum for files and such.  But I having some troubles getting it to work, so in time :)
