A few of us in Montana have been discussing the VT run situation and want to throw this out as food for thought...
We have a proposal for all of you who are planning on VT runs during this unprecedented time. NADAC has opened up great opportunity to acquire points via VT runs. These opportunities in effect will create "mini trials" and substitute for cancelled trials you were planning to attend. The video runs you send to be judged have the normal $10 fee to NADAC attached - that is a given. However, if you have a run you are not sending in, NADAC gets nothing and is asking for nothing. We suggest that the normal $1.50 per run fee be sent to NADAC for all runs attempted. This could easily be handled by whomever is organizing things. And the cost to you is substantially less than going to that cancelled trial would have been. As members of the NADAC community, we can help support our organization in this small way. Obviously this is voluntary but certainly something to consider.
