VT Intro Q question - about tape
« on: July 21, 2020, 04:31:59 PM »
A friend and I set up the Plant Chances course for her and she ran her dog with the tape set up for Elite.    Since the Intro course was embedded in that course, I decided to run my pup on the Intro Chances course and we did the course with no faults.   But, we did not remove the 'extra' obstacles or her Elite tape.  Also I did not  put down the Intro line of tape.    With out those items done, may I submit my Intro course?   The distance itself was not our challenge, just the fact that I had a cooperative pup working with me.

Hi Isabel,
It is really helpful to the VT reviewers if the lines are down for the level that you are running. Even though you may be behind the Elite line, we need to judge the dog as well, so not having the Intro line down, makes it difficult to judge the dog. It is fine to leave the other obstacles on the course, but if any are taken, it will be considered an off course.
