Barrelers/Hoopers combo question

If you are at different levels in Hoopers and Barrelers what level are you eligible to enter?

My dog has 90 Novice Hoopers points and hoping to get the last Q for our Superior but no novice Barrelers Qs (don't really enter it)-  If I do not earn my novice Barrelers title before the new class takes effect do I enter Novice in the new class or can I enter Open based on my Hoopers title?

You would be able to enter Open

The points are combining, so your 90 Novice Hoopers points would just become the 90 Novice points in the new class
