NOMAD sends thanks!
« on: August 21, 2012, 06:24:30 AM »
Hi,

We just wanted to thank everyone for helping put on a wonderful trial this past weekend! We had beautiful weather, great courses, and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
First off, to Pam Smith, our judge, who did a wonderful job. NAE (Erin, Cory, & Lynn) who did trial sec services and equipment rental. Our club members that came to work and support our trial. Our loyal following of non-club members and out of staters, who also work very hard at our trial.
Thanks everyone!

Karen Clark, co-chair
St. Albans, VT

P.S. I was going to list new titles, but the paper it was written on got lost :(  The only one I can remember off the top of my head is:
Cynthia Gilliland & Heather - 1000 lifetime points
Congrats Cynthia!
Anyone else with a new title please post.

As an "out-of-stater" but not the furthest traveled - I would like to thank NOMAD for once again hosting this trial! A great many of us absolutely L.O.V.E. this trial and the mini vacation it gives us in beautiful Stowe, VT... For many of us it is maybe the one time a year we get to see our friends from far away (MD & VA) and we all look forward to it and the camaraderie and fun to be had at this trial

I know this trial is always in jeopardy of "not happening next year" - but I beg and plead for NOMAD to keep supporting NADAC... You have a whole slew of really experienced trial hosts who are more than willing to do anything you need done to ensure that this trial keeps happening!

Thanks again for the awesome weekend !

Thanks Karen and Linda and all the NOMAD club members for hosting a wonderful trial! We love your trial and love coming up to visit the beautiful Stowe region during the summer! We hope to see this trial on the NADAC calender again next year and we echo Maureen's plea for you guys to keep offering this NADAC trial. Thanks also to Pam Smith for being so enthusiastic and supportive to every competitor and to NAE for helping host such a fun trial!

Ditto from us!  The NOMAD trial is one of the highlights of my agility year!  The site is great, the view of Mt. Mansfield in the background wonderful.  Dinner and Margaritas at Gracie's with 5 dogs at the table was superb.  The dogs love the river, we love the Mountaineer Inn, although the dry camping is great too, and it's really great to see all of the NOMAD people as well as the VA/MD people who come up!  And then there are the Montreal people, who came down just because it was Stowe.  The weather this year was absolutely amazing, too.  Thank you NOMAD! Hope to do it again next year!

Stowe is my favorite agility venue and I look forward to it every year! This year's trial was as wonderful as ever, NOMAD is a great club, NAE did a great job, and Pam Smith had wonderful and fun courses!

Everything about this trial is first rate, we love the river, the bike path, and the wonderful shops and restaurants in Stowe!
It was also the best weather weekend of the summer, with cool mornings and highs of 75! Please continue to have this trial!

New Titles:
Stewie got his Elite Outstanding Weavers title and also 600 tunnelers points!

thank you,
