What happened with my last post it worked in Preview but the the link is all jumbled on actual posting.

Sorry but I'm trying it again here. This is using Hyperlink button.

Interesting dog train photo so worth it if the link would work right and you could just click to see Joe's photo.
I'm assuming it is Joe's photo.

A question about this forum can you just put in the link without the weblink button and will it be posted?

Like this:
www.flickr.com/photos/40908187@N07/6709214727/

In Preview both of these links look active and find, let's see how they appear after posting.

Last attempt at this I promise.

Also looked at some other topics and it does seem if you attach a Photo it will appear at bottom of your posts but this would require the photo on your local machine and then it would get uploaded onto the forum.

posting pictures with the image tag....

in your reply post (or new post) select the Insert Image button (just under the B (bold)

that adds the image tag in your message that looks like this: (without spaces) [img ]http://[/img ]

you need to take the location of the picture you want to share (that is somewhere else on the web... for example from the NADAC website:

to get the correct address of the image and not a link to the page you need to right click on your image and in IE go to properties then highlight and copy the address (URL) listed; in Chrome right click and choose copy image URL

that gives me this address:
http://www.nadac.com/Rules_for_NADAC_trials.htm

I put the picture address inside the image tags (remove spaces) [img ]http://www.nadac.com/Rules_for_NADAC_trials.htm[/img]

as mentioned before you can also share pictures by uploading them to the forum as an attachment. (depending on size limitations some forums disable this option but for now it seems to be available)

in your reply at the bottom is Attachments and other options, choose to attach your picture file that is within the size requirements listed.

We've gone a little off topic but it is because the new forum rocks.

I believe Jackie's answer about the IMG tag is great but you might not be able to do this with a picture from a site like Flickr because of many reasons.

The photo poster does not allow the photo to be shared.

Or the site itself will not share the photo unless it sees a link back to itself on the page calling it, I believe this may be the case with Flickr.

So for those sites you can only share a link to a page with the photo at that site.
